I love this.

Such a nice piece of 8Bit music here. It takes the timelessness of 8Bit music and gives it a modernized, melodic feel.

This is certainly a fun song to listen to.

Or4nges responds:

Glad you liked it!

I love 8-bit songs, they are indeed timeless.

Fly like a spaceship.

I was actually pretty skeptical at you mentioning the drop, but it was pretty good. I do have one issue with this song, though.

Although you have the synths and the percussion going on, without a pad to support it, the song seems a bit hollow. I feel like there could be more depth to this song.

Of course, that's just my opinion; it was still a fun song to listen to.

EricFreeman responds:

Yeah, I listened to this song in my car and I know exactly what you mean by it sounding hollow. I'll have to work on that. Thanks for listening!

Epic on all accounts.

Sure, I paid about $100 for my whole chair, but this song had me using only the edge.

It's a nice, energetic take on my song, an for that I love this series.

OpenLight responds:

Haha sweet.

Also, I figured out I uploaded the wrong version of this... I'm about to upload the other.

Good Lord, the mountain is alive...

I like how this song had so much buildup to it. It's funny, you could probably do the song without any percussion and it'd still sound as good.

Either way, this turned out really nicely, especially considering how much time you spent on it. It's definitely my series retold in your style.

OpenLight responds:

Awesome! Both that you like the direction I'm taking with this, and that the MOUNTAIN IS AALIIIVVEEEE!

Haha yeah I'll upload Part 4 tomorrow. Of course, you've already heard it, but I'll wait a while before putting it up on NG. I'll let you know when I do Part 5.

This is nice, dude.

The really light, airy synths transition into the main beat so well into this, and it really produces the atmosphere of this song so well.

Oh, I just caught that melody at the end, holy crap. I now love this even more.

OpenLight responds:

Thanks! Haha glad you caught the allusion at the end.

I'm not sure if this will be a direct remix, but the plot of this series is more or less directly related to that song series alluded to at the end. I'm psyched. I'm going to make that mountain as eerie as possible, haha.

Awesome.

Orders better than Walk and Seek, and that was one of my favorite songs by you. It kept a smooth flow throughout, and the drums went well with the melodies.

Nothing else to say, I don't really give play-by-play reviews like you. I'm just amazed by how this sounds.

OpenLight responds:

Thanks! I was really hoping this would turn out well.

It was nice.

The way your instruments complimented the ones I used is just awesome, but there is something I've noticed.

Because it's an edit of the original, it's a bit too familiar for me. Remixes that you've done, like of You can't run were made completely by you, note by note, and that kind of work really shows.

This was a little lacking in that, but it was a great remix nonetheless.

OpenLight responds:

Yeah lol that's why I put redux. I'm psyched that someone put your review was useless just because it had a little negativity lol but it wasn't necessary. My "helpful" rating should even things out.

Yeah this was along the style of what I did with !omi's song. I took the mp3 and added on haha. I may remix something else of yours soon, but I might wait.

Chilled out to this.

The way you blended the musical structure of Thailand with the drums made this a pretty fun track to listen to.

Additionally, that part at the middle of the song gave it a bit of a grunge-y vibe, and that gave it some extra character.

I enjoyed listening to this.

SoulSecure responds:

Thanks, I didn't think about it that way. Grungey, eh? Now I'll be thinking about that for a while...

*puts on silly hat*

In all seriousness, this is pretty awesome. I usually think of polka music as being very silly and gimmicky, but the way you executed it embraced the emotion behind it.

You have my vote.

matvei responds:

Thanks man, polka is supposed to be super cheesy, so I tried to level it out in the solo. Thanks for the kind words.

P.S. if you actually voted for me than you better correct it, cause we were in the same block! (cant vote for someone in your block, I believe.) So if you did, you might want to correct it in a PM to neon.
If you mean it figuratively, then thanks :D

Dang, I want to go to Lebanon now.

This style of music is so unique to what I'm used to listening to, and you've successfully taken me somewhere with this track. Even as I write this review, I can visualize this festival making its procession through the city streets.

camoshark responds:

Thanks alot for the nice review!

Cheers,
