Hey, guys. I sorta dropped off the face of the earth after my last upload, like two months ago. I fell into that nasty bad ole' depression again, then my girlfriend broke up with me, then I started school and a new job, and that's all been lovely. Anyway, I haven't killed myself, I'm actually doing great right now. I don't have any new uploads planned for Newgrounds at the moment, but if you just direct yourself to my Soundcloud, you can listen to what I've been messing with between classes, work shifts and shots of vodka.

Something from my SC that you can expect to see very soon, though, is "Of Alabaster, Of Aquamarine," which I have some changes to make to before it's ready. Also, expect my short loop, "Human," to be worked on and released...eventually.

Hey. Haven't been uploading anything in about a month or two. This summer, I sorta went through some things. One might call it depression, but...I dunno.

Last September, I made a song called Istishhad, which combined elements of Indian music with Hip Hop and Classical music. Since I uploaded it to Newgrounds, it's been a small goal of mine to do another song like it.

This one's going to be called Mohenjo Daro, and it will incorporate tabla, sitar, and tambura in the instrumentation, just as Istishhad did, but I want to mix it with House this time. Furthermore, I plan on introducing many other Asian instruments to this new song. I hope to make it every bit as creative as Istishhad was, if not more.

Also, I'll be focusing on making loops when I don't have ideas for songs, so maybe you can expect an update every week.

I'm out of ideas, out of inspiration. For two months, I've wanted to make a new song, but nothing has ever stuck. Every day, I sit in front of my computer and tell myself "I'm going to make a new song," and then nothing happens. I make 30 seconds of audio, then just delete the file, disgusted with the end product. I can't even open up my NGADM submissions and fiddle with them, because it just makes them sound worse.

I know I'm just in a slump and I'll get over it eventually, but I feel like this period of not being able to produce anything defaults to pure creative stagnation. So, yeah. Sucks a good amount.

So, in August, I participated in the NGADM and actually made it to Round 3. Unfortunately, I didn't make it further than that. Fortunately, I learned a lot about production during my time in the NGADM, so I'm far from sore about it. If you want to listen to the songs I made for Rounds 1-3, go to these links.

Anyway, school is keeping me busy, but I've got some stuff in the works. For one, I'll be remastering my NGADM tracks a bit, and I have a remix that I'll be working on as soon as I can. Additionally, I have a new song that I've been fiddling around with, hopefully that'll be done in the next few weeks.
