An amazingly done remix.

Easily the best one you've done yet. I actually have no constructive criticism on this one, it's too good. You perfectly expanded upon Numi's song with this, that's all I can say.

OpenLight responds:

Thanks!

I used sidechaining (or whatever it's called) for the first time on this one, and I like the way it sounds.

I'm on the IRC by the way if you want to head on lol.

Spacious, airy, incredible.

You bring the wow factor with every song you produce, and this is no exception. The light melodies and drums patterning make this song easily one the best I've ever heard by you.

OpenLight responds:

Woo! Haha thanks. I like this too, since it reminds me of Mirror's Edge. Then I found out right after I made this that Mirror's Edge 2 was cancelled. Stupid EA.

Yeah I'll try to make stuff like this more often... if I can. Haha

Brutal Soloooooooo

The way you do that with your instruments is always amazing, dude. The accompaniment of the other instruments made this even better.

I want to suggest maybe using a more complex beat pattern to complement those synths, but this works great too.

OpenLight responds:

Thanks!

Haha that's what I intended this thing to be (that is, a solo) so I'm glad it turned out as brutal as I had hoped.

Drumstep in ways that make me cry out of joy.

I'm loving this mix, you definitely have some unbelievable talents with your chosen genres.

I've been a fan for a while now, so I kinda feel bad that it took me so long to tell you how awesome I think your music is.

This is delicious!

I love this song dude. You definitely took your style to an all new height with this. Now I have to think of something new to keep up with you.

Seriously, this is incredible.

OpenLight responds:

Thanks! It's getting negative votes but all of my good songs do, haha.

Yeah your stuff is still better. I wouldn't try too hard to "keep up" since you're already ahead.

It's about a theif...

Who wants to steal the disco ball from the club, but the music's too enticing, right?

This is definitely a nice blend, OL. The way it maintains both a presence as a hard Techno song and the elements of a rock track is pretty great.

I love this song a lot, keep it up.

OpenLight responds:

Thanks!

Yeah essentially the thief broke into a house. Not only was there nothing in the house, but now he's locked in and forced to dance so fast that he burns a hole in the ground to escape.

You are the resistance.

I love this song, dude. It definitely reminds me of Deadmau5's style, but you definitely put more power into it, which I've always hated Mau5 for not doing.

If you're trying to spite him and make some sweet music at the same time, kudos, because I feel like you did it.

EricFreeman responds:

Haha, thanks a lot! I wouldn't say I'm trying to spite him; I was just trying to show how simple and easy his style of music is to make. I listened to his song "Sofi Needs a Ladder" and was basically disgusted at how boring it was, and yet everyone seemed to love it. And so, I made this generic house song in the mau5's style.

Nice stuff, man

This beat was amazing to listen to, the strings were so well implemented in this song, and it was augmented perfectly by your rapping. I usually pretty skeptical of rappers on this site, but you're damn good.

Keep it up.

RemixF2D responds:

It's like I'm in a jungle with nails on the ground

I'm not crazy about Dubstep, but this was amazing. The minimalism in the melody and percussion made such a nice contrast to that wobble.

Very nice, very dirty sounding.

Dubstop responds:

LOVE the quote ! Sums it up! Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you picked up on the minimalist vibe. ;)

The beat was nice...

And those synths worked great with it, but that bass was a bit to harsh. I dunno, it could be my crappy headphones, but besides the bass, everything else was fun to listen to.

Co-MasTer-Op responds:

idk man maybe I just hear it more clearly when making it cause im using a sub with my system.. Thanks man I appreciate the advice man
